This March, as a Major Sponsor of the Byron Bay cycle club, Lumini Collections will share with you their passion for vintage cycling with the "Lumini Vintage Vélo Classic".
A two day event celebrating Lumini Collections' Italian heritage and the golden age of steel bikes.
On March 7 and 8 2026 come to Byron Bay and bring your steely for an inclusive and enjoyable vintage cycling experience.
BBCC and Lumini Collections bring to Byron Bay "Il Ciclismo Classico".
What to expect
Lumini Vintage Vélo Classic is a two day event, welcoming Vintage bike enthusiasts, BBCC club members and anyone who wishes to know more about classic cycling.
We are planning:
Day 1 , Saturday March 7. A social evening at the Lumini Collections showroom, where riders, guests and BBCC members can enjoy a Gala Night among fellow vintage bike lovers.
Day 2, Sunday March 8. It's about YOU riding your machine into the beautiful Byron Bay hinterlands, guided by our wonderful BBCC Volunteers .
Event Schedule
Day 1 : The Gala Night,
Saturday 7 March , 5pm till 8pm
The Gala night will be at the Lumini Collections showroom, RSVP is essential.
You should expect:
A brief welcome by the Lumini family and the BBCC President.
Food and drinks
Ambient music
Projection of Stage 15 (Racconigi - Oropa) of the 1999 Giro d'Italia.

Day 2 : The Vintage ride
Sunday, 8 March – Cavanbah Centre Byron Bay
6:30 AM: The D-Grade Café—the pride of our club—will be on site, serving fresh brews from our sponsor, Coastline Coffee.
7:00 AM: After a short briefing, the Ride begins! (Registration link in comments.)
9:30 AM: Treat yourself to sandwiches and sweets from the D-Grade Café.
10:00 AM: The Swap, Buy & Meet—everything bikes and vintage treasures—opens for everyone.
12:00 PM: We’ll officially close the Lumini Vintage Vélo Classic 2026.

The Ride
Discover the Byron hinterlands with us on your steely.
We'll take you trough an enjoyable scenic route through the towns of Mullumbimby, Main Arm and Billinudgel and back via Coolamon Scenic Drive.
Join us on March 7 and 8, 2026 for the very first Lumini Vintage Vélo Classic.
